Wish us luck

Not saying she didn't expect us to last but it turns out my wife's lack of punctuality changing her name on some official documents after the wedding is going to hold up the fraud and money laundering check.

We've been married 6.5 years!

This is the one time in my life that I'm volunteering to help someone move. If only to justify a trip to Scotland. lol

Wtf kinda archaic nonsense is that?

Official offer for m her made on our place this morning and accepted this afternoon.

Spoke to dad now he's sober and he's 100% serious about the money so providing our friend doesn't get cold feet again, we'll be on our lovely big house by the end of October!

Congratulations!! That is awesome!

I mean technically the name on the documents she has aren't her legal name so I can see why they want to cross reference.

On the upside she's managed to locate her birth certificate. It's at her parents, she's not lived there for about 15 years.

I'm going to be doing a lot of: "how many times did I tell you that buying somewhere involves a bit more than looking at pictures of big fancy houses online" this week.

Ah like that. I think here you just keep the same stuff, change it over when you need to change your passport  As for documents, everything is electronic (and electronically signed) anyway, so you just need your ID number and login stuff. I don't think I even had a paper birth certificate ever

But good luck! I hope it all works out in the end :)
