What is the most dangerous animal where you live?

drivers looking at their cell phones

Beyond that, probably Pit Bulls.

If you exclude deer induced auto incidents and humans of various inclinations.......
Just a guess but probably the poisonous snakes. We have multiple species of rattlers, water moccasins aka cottonmouths, & copperheads. Plus the rare coral snake up from Florida in the south.
Come to think about it we got some big gators too.

If we’re not counting people, central MA is pretty tame. Black bear are rare and mostly harmless, coyotes are plentiful but have plenty to eat and leave people alone. Mosquitoes or ticks are probably the biggest problem.

Ever tell you about the Mountain Lion that me and my cousin ran into growing up in PA? Scariest experience of my life.

i've seen several up in the A.N.F.
and from not that very far away....like maybe 75 FEET!!!
and if you know anything about that area....you KNOW how big the bears get.

I have no idea how close it was, we were walking out in the front yard with a .22 because he thought he saw something and they had skunks hanging around that they wanted to get rid of on their farm. It was dark and it made that loud big cat warning scream.

Sounded just like the first one without the follow up. I felt the sound in my ribs it was so close. I told my cousin " don't turn around, don't run, walk to the door (about 20 yards away). We got in and slammed the door and looked back but saw nothing. Not a bad nerve test for a 15 and 13 year old.

Cougars. And not the kind that hang out at Applebee's on a Friday night.

I live in Germany and there are a few wolves roaming around. Not that anyone I know has ever seen one but they occasionally kill a sheep or two.

Bears, snakes and mt lions. I had a black bear run along side my truck at 25-30 mph for about 100 yards.

Black bears and wolves. Though it's quite rare that they actually come anywhere near. Other than that, the common European viper. There's quite a lot of them in summer. You hardly ever see them, but when we were in the archipelago we saw at least 1 a day at some point...

Statistically it's moose though, accidents and all that.

Snakes (rattlers, copperheads, water mocs), black bear, bobcats, coyotes...there is a small population of red foxes around as well, but they are pretty shy...
It's interesting that we live (as far as I recall) opposite each other North to South by about 1200 miles and we have the same animals. We don't have coyotes here unless you count the ones running people from Miami to Canada.
We also have gators and wild boar.
