I still have it, about 36 years later, so it must be working....

Now that you mention it, I never bother to discard older colognes, they just collect dust. Some are probably syrup by now, but I've got a timeline of colognes from the 70s to now:

British Sterling
Jovan Musk
Chaps (terrible)
Drakkar Noir
Pierre Cardin (ugh)
Polo
Stetson
Halston Z-14
Coolwater
and now the Armani Code.

I can't recall the last time I wore cologne, but when I did it was Fahrenheit. These days it's Old Spice pure sport antiperspirant.
