It has become somewhat popular but not as popular as when Davidoff 'Cool Water' was popular. Women love it but you do run the risk of running into someone else wearing it.
Issey Miyake
L'Eau d'Issey
Not as widely known, this one is lighter and fruitier smelling than the Armanni and it's a hit with the ladies.
Jean Paul Gaultier
Le Male
This one is a little more spicey than the first 2 recommendations and my fav. Not to be confused with Le Male Extreme as I have not tried the extreme. A woman once told me that she and her friends called it 'lady killer'.

This one is for the guys who can't have anything on them that smells remotely 'light and fresh'. It is heavy on the rough and spicy and though I do tend to the light, fresh and airy 95% of the time, this one is my 'tough' go to.
As for those who are 'application challenged', spray it toward yourself, shirtless from an arm's length away & walk into the mist immediately (you move toward it as you spray). If you are a T-Rex, spray it from 3 times your arm's length.
On a daily basis, I usually go for Tom Ford Noir - though depending on the weather, where I am, and how I feel, I also use Givenchy Gentlemen Only
