Binging on these guys today.
Songwriter and lead singer Frank Hammersland passed away today after battling cancer for the last year and a half. Just 53 years old.
One of the finest songwriters we've had over here, with an incredible ear for great pop melodies. Not to mention a kickass singer.
And quite probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

Thanks for the music Frank.

And cancer can go fuck itself.

It was a pleasant surprise. I was looking at some metal reddit forum the other day and saw some band mentioned called Dystopia, specificall their album Human=Garbage so I apple music'd them and as sometimes happens with bands who have a rather generic name other similar bands albums get listed together. The song above came from an album called :rough art of the spiritual" and their previous album was The wisdom of insecurity. I thought "wow" this is a diverse band :embarrassed: and after some googling found out they were two different bands...this one is apparently from NZ https://www.elsewhere.co.nz/music/8334/dystopia-rough-art-of-the-spiritual-monkey/
I was listening to it cooking the other day...last songon the album got dark and scared me though :embarrassed:
