good eye yes I blame Chad for the Jayhawks. I remember buying the CD back when it came out and it was when Grunge was all over the place including dominating my listening but I always dug the Byrds andI remember Rolling Stone having a review saying that it was like the Byrds (this was before I remember even Wilco AM which i think is when "alt country" started getting hype) anyway TLDR.....It's a great album that is timeless as is the sound but it also brings mega nostalgia. I think the Victoria Williams angle is just a happy coincidence or what's the word ...serendipitousGreat solo in that.
