G&L makes a blues boy with a p90 in the neck and an MFD in the bridge. The G&L P90s are pretty nice sounding.
I like the Special better. Also, the new Doheny has MFD pickups.

same, but it is a gibson with the admittedly dumb headstock angle and string break and having to tune it a bit more often than other guitars. I still love itBang for the buck, I'd look for a used Gibson SG Classic. That's what I've got, and I love it.
I also love the PRS McCarty Singlecut I got from @Guitar Heel - it's a solid body with P90s and it cooks. I never thought I'd own a PRS, much less one with birds on it, but it's become one of my go-to guitars.
Some of those do indeed look amazing. I was trying to find one with a solid rosewood neck and no birds. and a gold top. and no gold hardware. didn't work.
The combination of those things is going to make it difficult. But you should be able to find a PRS with P90s and a rosewood neck.
Yeah, for $3k and up. I ain't got @smurfco money.
All you Hamer fellows, do you notice any tuning issues on these? Strings bind up in the nut, etc?
I absolutely love my Gibson blueshawk. I have no tuning issues with it at all. I've done nothing to it over the years.

This is the greatest P-90 guitar. Mahogany body with carved mahogany top. Mahogany neck with pau ferro fretboard and stainless frets. Kinman noiseless P-90s and knobs that go to fucking 11 just like this guitar, bitches. You can't get one from Warmoth 'cause I broke the mold (and Gibson sent them a C&D).
Another Rev recommendation here. Also, these old Guilds come up from time to time on Reverb. They're not unicorns but they were only made for a couple of years. And since they're Guilds their resale value is mediocre and the prices aren't insane.

The Guilds that were made in Westerly were called the Blues 90 and that's what that one is. Dot inlays and no neck binding. Mine was made in 2000.If the one on the left is a Bluesbird 90, good luck finding one south of $1K! I've been looking for years....
Nice, Stu D Baker?Another Rev recommendation here. Also, these old Guilds come up from time to time on Reverb. They're not unicorns but they were only made for a couple of years. And since they're Guilds their resale value is mediocre and the prices aren't insane.
