What amp would your 16 year old self buy for at home jamming?

Updated question -> Let’s say you are 16. What amp do you want for jamming at home knowing what you know today?

Still a Katana 50.

Trying to narrow it down, because the music I played at 16 is nothing like I play today. So I'm 16, playing the same music I did at 16, but knowing everything I know now and have the funds for whatever amp I want?

Probably a Rocker 32 or one of the Friedman combos.

Early 60's Tweed Champ

Zoom G5n multi-effects device. It has amp sims, pedals out the wazoo, drum machine and looper capabilities. It’s an excellent practice tool. Plus, it can be used as an interface for a computer. It can also be used with a real amp.

All for about $300.

Yeah, I don't get that either. Who in Toledo, or anywhere else for that matter needs a 100w Freidman head? I could see stocking some of their combo's or lower wattage stuff but 100w? No-one needs that anymore?

I love 100 watters. And 50 watters. Nothing sounds quite like big iron. Although loud, it doesn’t take as much volume to get them to a sweet spot as you would think.

I have had a lot of amps. One that has hung in there is the Holland Li’l Jimi but I don’t want to sit there and let it burn to practice.

they have lower power friedmans. the little combo is actually called the small box amp. but, you know, it's a grand or something.

i like John, and i wish him all the luck with this store, but yea......not gonna make a living selling that level equipment in toledo.

I dropped someone's guitar at Pragestock while plugged into a cranked 100w Pitbull. That was LOUD.
