Help! Well and this is a strange one but for a few months I have had a nagging idea about getting a tattoo

I don't have any tattoos but I've found myself thinking about getting a small bass clef on my left wrist / forearm area. Nothing too fancy or crazy, maybe something like this (but smaller and maybe closer to the elbow):

I'm not sure where this idea came from or why but I keep thinking about it. What do you think? Stupid idea? For those of you with tattoos what drove you to get your first one?

First tattoo, I dunno I just wanted one and picked a really shitty scratch one out of a book.

I was 18 and went with one of my best buds who is no longer with us so I've got some ideas on things to add around it in his memory but I'll never cover or even touch up the original.

The other ones had a bit more thought and meaning behind them and monkey zero is right, they're addicting.

Forehead is right out but I could imagine a scenario where I could raise money for charity and raffle off a spot on my ass for a forumite's name or likeness to go. It'd have to be a lot of charity money though, way more than when I shaved my head.

Yeah I would either have the tattoo guy design something or design it myself. I want something simple and unadorned but not clunky/chunky like the one in the picture...
