I know a bridge pickup is wanted, but man, i think that is going to look incredible with just the neck pickup. Really hawt.

I'm more or less planning a bridge pickup but if this does the trick, I may leave it. With the split in there, I ought to get a decent mix of sounds.

The firebird split reminds me of an old Dano/Harmony pickup. It's basically the same...a bar magnet with wire wrapped around it.

Thanks. It sounds nice. This is the third guitar I've used the SM-3 in and it never fails to please.
Shitty iPhone video uploading now.

I need to make a shim to go under the pickup ring. It's not quite high enough.
Saddle slots need to be cut yet, also.

The white looks nice, and clean, but it's really too bad the white-streaked-walnut didn't work out for you.

That being said, I'm still really really looking forward to your final interpretation of this thing.

Thank you. As for the finish, yeah the natural or doghair would have been cool but I do like a good lacquer finish. It feels nice and the white is quite elegant.

Needs gold hardware.

I am being serious :embarrassed:

Looks killer nonetheless

NO GOLD HARDWARE!

Very cool, man!!

Thank you.
