Live ammunition is much more fun. What kind of handgun are you using for the training?
Glock 17. One of the guys I work with is using his own Sig 226. He's going to let me shoot it which is perfect because I haven't decided which one I want to buy for my duty weapon yet and this way, I get to try them both out.
I would prefer the Sig 226. I'm not a big Glock fan. The Glock is prolly cheaper though.
Glock 17 is what the school issues if you don't want to use your own weapon. The BF keeps trying to sell me on the Glock for interchangability and affordability. Basically, the Glock/Sig decision boils down to persoanal preference. That's why I'm excited to use both.

I hear that a lot but I don't know anyone that has one here that I can play around with. Some of the people I work with have them. I might have to go to the range with one of them. With the GLock it all comes down to whether or not you're comfortable with the grip angle and the trigger.
I still say you should check out a Smith and Wesson M&P....
