You'd expect the bridge plates to be fairly interchangable with the "regular" ones though, in most cases. If not, let's drill.![]()
My Tele was a warmoth body drilled for an American Std Tele and it dropped right on.

nah, we're not that nitpicky.
You are, but most of us...![]()
I used to be a 3 barrel person. Then I said fuck it, and bought a Gotoh Modern bridge. It's way better.
Aha. Figured you'd be one of the sticklers for form when it came to Teles.![]()
No, I like to be in tune with good intonation.![]()
Thanks. Yeah, it's a unique guitar. The fingerboard is ebony. The body is painted with one of those color shifting paints. It's purple/black, depending on how you look at it. Another friend did that for me in his autobody shop.I love the one your buddy built. I like how the body and neck are kinda reversed (maple and dark). That is super cool.
Hey, @dmn23, if you haven't gotten rid of the bridge that came with that (it WAS a Fender stamped steel unit, right?) I would be interested in it for this.
Chad, who's going dictate the nomenclature so know what is and isn't a Tele?
I mean, these all work for me and so would Gordon's Yamaha Pacifica super-Tele (like this one):

...but I don't want to be wrong.
