I know the feeling. About 18 or so years ago, one of my best friends from grade school and high school, whom I hadn't seen in years, gave me the "business opportunity" phone call. I had an inkling, but wanted to see him, anyway. When he came over, sure enough, after giving me the five-minute pre-pep talk, he revealed the Amway logo :facepalm:. Haven't seen nor talked to him since, and noit because of effort (or lack thereof) on my part :embarrassed:.

Yeah. I haven't seen nor heard from her since we were laid off. We are FB friends but that doesn't mean anything. Outside of that we have nothing to do with each other. I like it better that way.

Congrats to Ken. I know all too well how that goes. I went on a 5 year plan to pay off a LARGE sum. Finished it up in April of last year. A huge weight was lifted when I finished up. I have been debt free since.
 
Friday is good.

I had a rough day yesterday. I had an appointment with a new therapist. Lots of old baggage was reopened. I left feeling like shit. But I got my Heritage back from being refretted. There is a problem with the electronics that I need to look into today. I may swap the pickups again. The 11k bridge is just too powerful for me.
 
Well done, Ken. Mrs G and I got in waaaay over our heads when we were pups. Took years to dig out.
It's a great feeling to be out from under it.



Speaking of being under, HC is off the air again?

I got my '85 Heritage H-170 back from being refretted yesterday. I waited 6 weeks to get the job done. This neck is soooo comfortable now. It's like I have an old friend back in my life.

As part of a trade I got a set of Dominger Blue Bite Alnico II pickups. They were lying around so I installed them. I have to say that I'm impressed. These work really well in this guitar. It's like the two were made for each other.

I think I found my new number 1.
