Peavey VTM 60 is another jcm800ish amp, you can always find them, $200-$300. ...and they weigh a ton

I don't think any jcm800ish amp is going to sound like a jcm800, unless it's cranked. You could consider pedal for that sound.

The more I read about the AOR, I think I will go a different direction. Maybe a Peavey Classic 50. I think that is in the same ilk as a VT.

DMAN - cute kids.

Good Morning All

Awesome photo Dice

Going to breakfast with a friend, then hanging out with my new lady friend.

Good morning all.

Beautiful family, Dman.

I'm in a new ensemble at the music school. I'm starting work on Television's Marquee Moon album. I've played it before but now I'm learning some different parts. I'm debating if I'm going to go out to breakfast or not.

I just ordered a TC Electronic Ditto Looper. I'll be selling my Digitech Hardwire DL-8 and my Boss RC-2. Anyone interested? They are in mint condition and come with all boxes and manuals.

That was one of my favorite things from Namm this year.

I just find the other two to be overly complex. I just want a looper that's easy to use. No BS. Just a simple looper.

Morning...

So I have been going thru a gas crisis on some high Wattge Amps I don't need. Started looking at a Laney AOR - but from what I read not very useable for home use. I am getting pretty interested in a Peavey Classic 50 head - I found one in the black tolex for $400. Then I see there is a Marshall DSL 50 at a local GC for $650. That is definately the high priced spread - but I am mainly interested in Marshall tone - so why not just get a Marshall. What to do?

Mornin... Always gassin for gear, but lately the phase for me has been to bring my guitars and amps to basics. How many mahogany slabs with humbuckers do i need? I suppose 1....etc... 1 of each should suffice. I see a jag and a P90 based git in the future, but for now, back to basics. Even my pedal board is down to 3 pedals.... EHX Q Tron, Boss Power Stack (which I think I will get rid of, redundant), and an old Arion Octave. I need a delay though. Always need that delay pedal!

I guess it's true that there's no real cure for GAS. I just finished the hollow body and now I'm wondering what's next.

The difference is that you're not "acquiring" and much as "constructing". You have GCS.

I think Mrs G is putting the kibosh on the building for a while, as am I.
It takes too much time from family and guitar playing.

I want a 339.
Anybody wanna trade a walnut tele for an Epiphone?

Ken is getting a delay. I'm trading him for some rewind work and some cash.

EG, I have an Ibanez AM73 that I can sell you. It's the same size as a 339. The flat black one has a set of Gibson 490's in it. The red one has a set of Wilde L90's. Take your choice. $275 + actual shipping including a HSC.
