Well, I haven't started the one I was asking about yet, though it's entirely possible that we had the same song in mind. You're '74 right?

That works just fine......considering we don't really follow rules much around here as it is.

I still have to pick a song. Preferably one with a drum part that is easy to sequence.

Ok, well, we don't usually do covers..but we're going to try..just Lisa and me. I was born in '65 and she was born in '66..so, we've picked a song from 1964. :embarrassed: It'll be good practice as I'm learning to record on the PC...hope we get it done on time. :)
 
Ok, got two songs picked out. Now we'll see if I actually learn and record them. My track record is less than stellar at these things. :embarrassed:
 
I picked on, got the drums done, learned how to play it. The problem now is, I changed the key to make it easier to play and I thought easier to sing but now I am having a hard time finding the melody because I have never heard it sung in that key.

that's what I did with Sylvia's Mother.
didn't work out for me, either.
 
see, now that's something I should do.
well, if I drove.
could just sing it around the house I guess.

it's funny, too, when I tried it a capaella, it seemed fine, like I could hit the range I wanted no problem.
soon as I hit that red button though...*FART*
pisses me off.
