Mornin Steve. Its good I think. Not really made for cleans, but surprisingly with the pre gain just barely up, cleans are totally possible, even with humbuckers. Definitely has an old school rock n roll sound, and can make that classic Marshall mid attack. I like it.

Edit. 1 very very cool thing about the windsor, the effects loop. Great job from Peavey on this design. With a basic delay in the effects loop, it almost has a "ducking" effect, where is doesnt drown out my signal and appears after I stop playing even more. Really reminds me of a ducking feature on other delays.

Good morning.

Yesterday was a blur. But I remember shipping those parts, Ken. You should get them next week. I found a smaller box. That cut shipping costs by 40%.
 
I friggin' hate snow! Took me 2 hours to get to the office today. Now I have to head out in it again for an appointment across town.

I think a lot of times snow is beautiful, and mysterious. I will say Feb is my least favorite month. The Winter gets to be long- by March there is hope of Spring. I grew up in S. Wisc - and I can tell differences between Winters down there, and up here in Mpls. Winters are colder, and longer here.

My wife thought the same thing until she moved here (TX). It is 70 F now, and the lows for the next three nights will be about 50 F.

Summer around here, on the other hand, sucks donkey dicks.
 
Cabs are fab Ken.

I lived in Texas for a couple of years. You get used to it, and 30 degrees starts to feel like zero did, when you lived up north. Then you move back up here, and you are screwed.

I was born in SW WI and spent my early youth there, then the school years in Chicago, raised my kids in central OH. Winter in rural areas is much more elegant. Urban winters have their charms, but are shitty for the most part. Ohio is annoyingly ambivalent.
 
We get just about the right amount of snow here in the foothills of NC. Enough to have fun and be an hour away from the ski slopes, but not so much that it isn't gone usually within a few days.

Still, not sure how to go about shopping for one. Wide fretboard, and flat too. How do you try something out, to see if you like it, when they are all going to be so foreign? On the plus side, son has his action a mile high on all his guitars.
