Note to self: Buy as much Smith&Wesson stock as you can. :grin:

busted a tooth today. Broke at the gumline. Mouth hurts like a mofo. Luckily my jaw isnt broke, just bruised and sore. i am so sick of the slush ice smow mess :mad:

Illinois is supposed to take ten days but mine took a month and a half. I wasn't in a hurry, and I still don't own a firearm yet.

Well I just got back from a disappointing trip to GC. I pretty much decided on a bass amp and wanted to try out my potential choice a little more. I got to play a Music Man Stingray for a while and holy crap is that a sweet bass. If you want to know what plays like butter really feels like just pick up a Stingray. Well I played the amp for about a hour and was convinced that it was the one I wanted so I had a $50 coupon and let the guy know I would take it. Well all they had was the floor display and it had a big scratch on the side. I told the guy I wasn't paying full price for a floor display. None of the other GCs had one that wasn't a floor display so I got the "we can order one for you". I said why would I do that. If I order online I can get a price match and pay no sales tax or shipping from AMS or Sweetwater. So I just got home and ordered a TC Electronic BG250. I expect it by the end of the week but I really wanted to crank up the bass tonight and play. :mad:

I usually don't have much bad to say about the local GCs but lately I've been calling them Kicked to Crap Guitar Center because all the have is the beat up floor displays in stock.

Yeah, I bought a mostly stripped starter guitar body. Only cause it's sexy.

I'm exhausted this morning. We played a four song set at the music school last night. But things didn't finish up there until 11:20 or so. Rehearsal today. Then a quiet evening at home (maybe).

I don' know, but I have an intermittent pain between mah belly-button and my right hip. I sure hope that's not what I think it may become, especially with a trip to Seattle in 13 days :(.

Morning

Been away for a while.

I got my Fender GE112 cab yesterday. Totally lifeless speaker. Pooped it open. Someone had swapped the Fender speaker with a Rocket 50. I ordered a WGS Retro30 last night. If anyone wants to try this Celestion Rocket 50 I will sell it cheap.
