Not really. I wouldn't mind to trade for a Peavey Wolfgang as I really dig my OLP versions of that guitar. But I don't need anything. Anything you want me to be on the lookout for?

I will post some pics here.

I will also post some very belated shots of last years summer namm. Things have still been crazy around here, but I won't feel right unless I get those shots up.

Groovy. I don't need or want anything or even need to be tempted at this point :embarrassed:

Keep your eye out for a 77 Ibanez LP for me. Just joking, would like one but, on the hunt for the worlds most expensive classical.

So I was loving the SCXD2 until about 20 minutes into playin it, it started emitting these repeating popping sounds. Pop - Pop -Pop - Pop...at a rapid rate. Did not matter what channel I was on, or where the Gain/Volume was set. I swapped out a couple tubes - no problems - I swapped back in the original tubes - no problem. I let the head warm up for about 45 minutes. I played it for about 10 minutes - no problems. Left it on - came back 20 minutes later and played for 10 minutes. No problems. So really all I have done in the end is re-seat the preamp tube, and one power tube. All I gotta say I am going to play the shit out of this SCXD2 in the next 3 or 4 weeks and make sure the popping gremlin does not come back. Weird.

First shot of new girl Skye at our house. He has moved right in. Skye and Sasha played most the afternoon...

Weird stuff with the SCX2 head. I hope it stays solid. I've had mine for a while without any issues. I really love it, too.

Skye is absolutely beautiful and has a happy look to her. I'm glad she adopted you! :thu:

Thanks guys. Skye had rough start to life - but is beautiful, and wonderfully adjusted considering her early bumps in life.

Yeah - weird about the SCXD2. That it had issues only after it was good and warmed up makes me think it was a tube. But the original tubes are back in and I have not been able to reproduce the popping. I got this thru wwbw w/ 45 day return. I'll be playing the shit out of this until I am sure the issue is gone. I do really love it so hope all is well.

Tig - what tubes did yours come with? Mine has Groove Tube Premium (or premiere?)

Woody, maybe a tube got loose in transit or something. Sometimes reseating them is the ticket :thu:

And congrats on Skye :)

In transit all shook up is my thought too, but it didn't do it till it was all warmed up. Weird.

Cool looking dog Woody. Hope your dogs have long happy lives. HNDD.

Pretty dog Woody. Congrats on the new pup. I'm guessing you had a loose tube.

Recording went pretty good today. It took me more takes than I would like to get the tracks down but the bass and guitar tracks are recorded and I got to listen to the first arraignment of the second song. Sounds pretty good so far.

Like em a lot. If it was me, I wouldn't cover them. What I think would be cool, make a frame of 1x2s," or cut it out of mdf", square, just big enough to cover speakers, and cover with grill cloth. Not the whole front of the speakers, just a square in the middle.

Love that idea. i think if anything, it be will minimal just like you said.

HAPPY NEW DAWG WOODROW!

Skye is beautiful, Woody. It's good to hear that she is getting along well with Sasha.

Sup Mon... Any plans tonight? Im a loner tonight with nothing to do :( Im moving my bias test points and pot to the outside of the windsor so I can mess with it and not take the amp apart. That's my exciting night tonight. Beer, check...Pizza, check,....Muscle relaxer... chillin.

Hi Ken. A friend stopped by. We went out for a bite. He just went home a little while ago. I've been on the run since 11 AM. So I'm kinda beat. I'll be getting ready for bed soon.

Morning all wave0

Woody good looking pup! Glad that Skye will have a great life now. :thu: Popping sound coulda just been loose tubes, reseating probably was all the amp needed. Hope it works out for you.

Mornin... Dog woke me up barking at absolutely nothing..... (ghost?)

Finished my bias mod on the Peavey Windsor. Not really a mod, just a move.

Added test points and a pot to the outside so I can mess with it and not take the amp out every time I change some tubes.

And looks like someone got lazy and added a new fuse to replace the old one..... not a bad idea but, sloppy.

Morning

Thanks all. Skye & Sasha are buddies already. Skye takes the pressure off me to entertain Sasha. They chase each other around the house, or play tug of war. It is hilarious.

On the SCXD2: I warmed it up for about an hour - then went down and played thru it at fairly high gain for about 20 minutes. No problems at all.

Gonna take Sasha for a walk soon. We shall see if Skye wants to come. One think we have noticed, Skye does not come for me very well for me. We both figure she has some distrust of men. Something from his past. But Skye is not afraid of me in general. We hope to work this through.

Good Morning All.

Woody, Skye is a good looking dog. Congrats on dog and amp

Still contemplating a new bike.
