Readied the car hauler for a move.
I'm bringing it out to my brother's farm.

My wife will be happy to have the other half of the driveway back.
 
weekend off, gonna try to teach the gal's daughter some guitar stuff.
I figure if she's taking my Squier, she'd better learn some shit.(which is exactly what I'll teach her)
even if she only plays it here...
 
Tonight: Returning my pillow to Bed Bath & Beyond, picking up some dinner and watching the Phils game.

Tomorrow: Cleaning up the house and grocery shopping, then having a cookout which only a few friends are attending. Why is it the weekend we decide to have people over everybody is out of town?

Sunday: Clean up and recover, laundry and lounging around the house. Maybe try and record with the new AT2035 a little.
 
My brother and his wife are in town this weekend...we haven't seen them in a year and a hlaf since they live in Rhode Island so most of it is going to be spent with them. I have a gig tonight that the whole family is coming out to and then work tomorrow morning though.

Oh yeah, I have to also verbally beat the shit out of a rep from Southern California Edison when they come to inspect my meter since our regular $40 electric bill on our house came yesterday and it was $801 FUCKING DOLLARS. FOR ONE MONTH. AT OUR HOUSE. We don't even use that much electricity in four months at the studio, where I run two 3.56 ton HVAC units constantly. :mad:
 
I have a lot of mixing to get done this weekend for Gary. I've been having a hard time working in my studio though since it's so disorganized, plus Ginsberg wants to be in there with me. Problem is, he likes a cables. A lot. :annoyed: So today I'm straightening up the studio (ie- finishing unpacking!!! :eek: ) and hanging up my new cable management system. Other than that, not much. My grandma is over this way today so mum and I will probably meet her for lunch.
 
Back on a regular work schedule here after two weeks of insanity. I don't have any plans, but I'm going to enjoy the normalness and catch up on some chores this weekend.

Maybe your neighbors across the street tapped into your main and are running a dozen indoor grow lights, along with a few AC units...

We are heading up to Wyoming tomorrow morning to see the #2 son's college musical and spend a bit of time with him since he is staying up there all summer then goes straight into school. He probably won't be home until Thanksgiving. Normally we spend the night up there but I could not score a good deal on hotel rooms so I'll be driving home after the musical (it is a 300 mile drive). We should get home around 3:embarrassed:0AM. Which reminds me - I need to buy a couple Red Bulls for the trip back.

Sunday will be recovery day....
 
Day off again today.
Will be going to the bath fixture design centre to pick out materials and colours for the main bath.
After 31 years, it's time for an update.... :embarrassed:

I wish I could knock out walls and add on, but that's not gonna happen.
 
Hosting karaoke tonight, "new" Futurama starts airing so if I can work out the dvd recorder I'll be watching that when I get in.

Football season kicks off tomorrow. not decided if I'm going to watch it in the house or go out for a few beers. Karaokeing at night. Can get a bus right there and it's cheap to drink so I've not decided whether to leave the car at home or not.

Probably rehearsing with the band on Sunday. Might head up to Stirling for my brother's quiz night he hosts later on if I can be assed.
 
had a job interview earlier which seemed to go alright

football again as per every friday, 7-5 win for us, still unbeaten :grin:

this weeks been a mixed bag, some good days, wednesday hanging out playing games with a bunch of my friends all day and today was ok, yesterday sucked a massive one since me and my GF of three years split :( weird thing is I dont feel upset, im just a little distracted all the time and I dont want to eat

I'm not the only one that can bump this god dammit! :mad:

Tonight I'm making dinner for the gf since her b-day was yesterday. Then watching the Phils game and just generally relaxing.

Tomorrow is Crabfest 2011 at the gf's parents' house. They get a ton of crabs and cookout all day, I'll bring some beers and shoot the shit with her family. It's an ok time, usually eat too much then just lounge around the rest of the day. No plans that night so far.

Sunday I don't have any plans, but I'm on call for work all weekend so I can be too far away from the work phone/laptop in case the SHTF. I'd like to go fishing or something but that'll have to wait until next weekend. Perhaps I'll try recording some more, I keep saying that but haven't in a few weeks.
