The Friday Thread

I really want to get some music done this weekend. Otherwise the who laundry, mow the lawn, and tidy up game.
 
Tonight: Runnign around dropping tickets off to friends then DJing in a harbour town an hour away. It's usually a good gig and it's a naval town so the girls are wild but it's a late one.

Saturday: DJing 12:30 to half 6 then DJing 8 to midnight. Ill probably just about get time to buy some junk to eat before having to head to the other venue.

Sunday: Final football game of the season, my team just need to win (and they should fairly easilly) to win their third title in a row. I intend to make up for Friday and Saturdays abstinence by hitting the booze hard.

Monday: Work and paying for my sins.
 
Tonight: Pick up my stuff for Sundays race at the pre-race expo.

Saturday: Short run early AM. Buy some new running shoes (big sale this weekend at the running store). Pick up my #2 son in Boulder (coming home from college for two weeks). Chill out - eat carbs - go to bed early.

Sunday: Run the half marathon. Race starts at 6:embarrassed:0 AM and I need to be there by 4:45 AM to get decent parking. Current weather report for early Sunday morning. About 40 degrees with a good chance of rain and/or snow. :annoyed: Spend the rest of the day sore.....

Not going anywhere. I have a lot of work in the backyard to get done and probably an entire deck to tear out....

This weekend....rehearsal, grad parties, rapture, play at church, learn new tunes.....

no gigs this weekend. Today my son requested that we walk home from his school and he seems to think he's up for a 2 mile walk so I'll trek down there with my daughter in the stroller and then try to get home in less than 3 days. Then I'm cleaning my office at work and then coming home to do the lawn.

Saturday - work abd no other plans

Sunday - BBQ at Tom Harkenriders - he's even setting up a stage for folks to jam which will be killer because the place will be full of pro blues musicians. I might be a little intimidated to play :embarrassed:

Monday. - possible BBQ/Smoker adventure at my house with family. We'll see...

Hey at least you are playing with the A-Team. That outta be fun in itself!

For me, no gigs this weekend. I don't know what the wife has instore for us but I will be working on my guitar projects, yard work, clean the garage and office for starters. Geez that sounds to me like every weekend. The work is never done.....sigh......
 
gal's kid is down for the weekend.

so that means no ps3 for me, as she'll be on it non-stop, most likely.
which is okay by me.

gotta write another 8-10 songs for the new album, so hopefully I'll get a few of those done this weekend.
got the basic tracks done for the title tune yesterday...
