Tonight, getting some things ready for a garage sale. Saturday morning, have said garage sale, biker party gig Saturday night.

Still feeling pretty tired almost a week after pstock. Been thinking about paring down to a few choice pieces of gear, a sort of reinvent if you will. Playing wise, something totally different that will augment what I do, but not be the same old thing.

I've been in the "ebb and flow' of this idea for about a year now. Even though I've got as bunch of new pedals and stuff I'm actually playing simpler sounds 90% of the time and trying to make things happen more with my hands and relying lesson the the guitar and amp.
 
Man, I'm glad it's Friday, this has been an extremely intense month and a half at work with pretty much no end in sight. I've been doing the 8-6ish days for a while now. Yesterday I was supposed to be in a meeting at 1 that didn't actually happen until 5:30. Tonight I am going to chillax like a motherfucker. I recorded a demo for a new song last night so I'll probably spend some time tweaking that. I also might mow the lawn.
 
Woooooooooo Friday.

Tonight I'm just chilling at the house with the gf, watch some TV and eat a home-cooked meal since it's rainy out.

Tomorrow I'm going to a buddy's house warming party then going to dinner with the gf's parents. And if doctors induce labor for my buddy's wife, I'll be visiting the hospital to see their bundle of joy (and poop).

Sunday I'll be golfing with some friends in the afternoon if the weather holds, that's all I have planned really.
 
Tonight - not sure. Probably have a few beers and finish re-hanging acoustic panels etc. in the Rock Dungeon after new window weekend.

Tomorrow - family stuff. 1sister, breaux in law, and 2parents are coming to visit. Then we're all going out for dinner together.

Sunday - not much planned. Probably do some yard/garden work and generally chillax

I have a gig on Saturday at the county fair. One set at 12:30, then two sets starting at 9:40 PM. It is going to be a long day....

I get back on Monday and its going to be a meat grinder of a week with gigs and rehearsals so I'm going to make the best of our time away...I'm really excited to have any kind of a break. :)
 
I'll be running around all day getting ready for a parade tomorrow. I'm the point guy for our float, the Bud Billiken Parade is the second biggest parade in the country and is attended by over 300,000 people.

If you guys wanna see me on the tee-vee I'll be live on WGN sometime around 11am tomorrow.
 
Tonight: I'm hoping to drag my ass out for a decent bike run then either out for a few gins down the local or staying in to watch Ray Davies night on bbc4.

Tomorrow: Football (as in the version you use your feet to play) kicks off and my old man has a new fangled dish so I'll get to see all of the games. Got a 60th to go to at night and my brother might have people round.

Sunday: No idea whatsoever. Probably Xbox and a few beers down the pub as there's a couple of good games on too.


Quick question aimed at our US brothers: When you guys have a night in watching the TV or listening to music or you go out for dinner etc... do you do this without drinking?

It's VERY rare that I'm in a Friday or Saturday night but the 1st thing I think when it's likely to happen is: k what booze should I get in?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I usually do some moderate boozing at least one night on the weekends. If it's Saturday, and I already did some boozing on Friday, it's not unheard of for the wifey and I to see a movie or something with no alcohol involved.

Tonight I'm chilling at home with the gf. Making a home-cooked meal of BBQ chicken on the grill, oven roasted potatoes and corn on the cob. I think she made me dessert for my birthday as well, I'm guessing jello cake. :love:

Tomorrow is my b-day, which doesn't mean anything really except I'm one day older. Going out to eat at a nice restaurant with the gf and her parents and then hitting up the casino. They finally got table games so I'll be hitting up the blackjack and craps table for a little bit.

Sunday is another dinner with my family, hopefully I'll get outside and enjoy the nice weather we've been having with some wiffle ball, bike ride or some other nonsense.
 
Heading into the office late today, I have to pickup a clients pc on the way in by my house.

Spending the morning working on my blog and will spend various points today doing the same. Not sure whats going on tonight. Might go to a Yelp! elite event tomorrow after painting a bridge.
 
I've got gigs Friday & Saturday nights. Plus I have a bunch of new songs to learn for my fill-in show with another band.
 
Not too sure. I turned down two nights of sub gigs because I knew the band is a clusterfuck and while the money was decent it wasn't good enough to put up with that shit. I had another potential sub gig fall through for Sunday so I think it's going to be nice and mellow.
