The boy's room is all done. I just need to put up the base trim and then move him from the spare room into his new flowered-wallpaper-free room.
Now, see if you can follow this logic:
Step 1: Sell some furniture you never use.
Step 2: Buy a replacement sectional.
Step 3: Find out you have to wait until April 24th for delivery.
Now, most people would just accept this and wait for April 24th.
But somehow, in my wife's brain, having to wait means:
A: We have an empty room.
B: We can move our other furniture into this room (where it will go, anyway).
C: Since the living room is now empty, we can paint the ceiling.
E: Since we're painting the ceiling, we can paint the trim.
F: Since we're painting the trim, we might as well pull the carpet up.
G: Since the carpet's up, we can put down hardwood floors.
So, I went from selling furniture to completely remodeling the living room.
