Out sick today. I've got another sinus infection so I think I offically have chronic sinuitis. So I am going to the doctor and then come home and sleep.

Might go to an art show tomoroow and a swapmeet on Sunday if I am stll alive by then.

I came into LMA with my mum and the dogs. I'm going to do some work for a bit, stop off at the liquor store on my way home and then play Final Fantasy. :embarrassed:

I have non-drug idea for your nasal situation. Japanese wasabi. The stuff is similar to Chinese hot mustard, and a couple deep whiffs should clear out your sinuses double quick, and be less expensive to boot.

On the personal front, my better half is going to a wake, somebody that she knows from work passed on. She's understandably depressed, as Cat worked with the guy for 15 yrs. I asked what she wanted for dinner.... she said lobstah. So...... Got a couple 2 pounders from the fish market, and a couple pounds of asparagus from the supermarket. Lemons...check.... I'm going to make a Greek avlegmono sauce for both. How simple, butter, eggs & lobster juice. IPA beer for me, and ginger ale for her.

Change of plans yet again. I'm meeting two of my friends at The Pub in Rookwood and gettin' pissed. :embarrassed:

It's Friday once again, folks. My last day at this job, new one starts Monday. A lot of people are out of the office, my boss is having a little party for me at the end of the day, wherein people who don't generally like me will come out of the woodwork for cake and inane chit chat. Gotta love state government.

Tomorrow I'll probably be putting a deposit down on a townhome, it'll be nice to have more room. Then I might meet up with friends downtown for a St. Patty's Parade and drinking, although nothing too crazy.

Sunday is band practice, hopefully followed by cooking out since it's supposed to be beautiful here all weekend.

Good times.

I'm gonna do what every recently unemployed boy should do...

GET DRUNK!

...followed closely by passing out...

Saturday I am going to a friends to do some more studio recording for him (acoustic guitar, maybe some electric rhythm stuff as well). We are supposed to have crappy weather through about noon on Saturday so I can't do any outside work on the yard (which needs to be done). I also need to do some recording at home as well...

I think Prages and I are going to try to spend as much time outdoors as possible on Saturday, and then I will leave him to his other devices on Sunday.

I'm hoping to get the Dirty Dog course run, then Road bike the road through Kanawha State Forest and then take the kayaks out for a leisurely paddle on the lake. It should make for a fun, but exhausting day.

The boy's room is all done. I just need to put up the base trim and then move him from the spare room into his new flowered-wallpaper-free room.

Now, see if you can follow this logic:

Step 1: Sell some furniture you never use.
Step 2: Buy a replacement sectional.
Step 3: Find out you have to wait until April 24th for delivery.

Now, most people would just accept this and wait for April 24th.

But somehow, in my wife's brain, having to wait means:

A: We have an empty room.
B: We can move our other furniture into this room (where it will go, anyway).
C: Since the living room is now empty, we can paint the ceiling.
E: Since we're painting the ceiling, we can paint the trim.
F: Since we're painting the trim, we might as well pull the carpet up.
G: Since the carpet's up, we can put down hardwood floors.

So, I went from selling furniture to completely remodeling the living room.

its snowing, and I got a new amp and I am getting a looper later today. I doubt I will leave my basement much.

we'll have to make sure our wives never meet each other :embarrassed:

I have a pretty open schedule today...I need to get a few projects done but for the most part I have no students or gigs...tomorrow I need to finally get a lawnmower and get the yard ready for my sons birthday party next week...

I'm sort of planning to go to the Y tonight to swim but I'm not sure. I'm kind of beat so I may just stay home, drink beer and watch the NCAA games. Wednesday night I rehearsed with the band for three hours and since it was St. Patrick day me and one of the guys went out to as he put it "I wanna go drink beer and look at girls" so we went out and stayed out too late. Last night a different group of guys came by and we just jammed out a bunch of 10 minute long rock epics and I probably partied down last night a little more than I should have. I think I might have to give Gary Blanchard a call. :cheese:

I'll probably hit the gym to lift weights and swim tomorrow and Sunday I've got a racquetball game scheduled at 2pm.

its snowing
Winter brought out its pimp hand literally the last day of the season. It's coming down like it's got something to prove.

But I woke up this morning and the sidewalks in front of the house were already shoveled. Including the steps and walkway to the porch.

Happy Friday peeps.

Tonight I may or may not go see Hot Tub Time Machine. Might meet up with my friend who I haven't seen in a long while despite the fact that I'm in his upcoming wedding. :embarrassed:

Tomorrow I plan on clothes shopping, it's a dreaded chore but I need new clothes for work and whatnot.

Sunday is band practice, I helped my buddy set up his firewire interface and we now have enough mics to get a decent recording so we'll see how that turns out.

Today is my sons 5th B-day and tomorrow is the part so I'll be doing yardwork all morning....party tomorrow (we'll get to see how Jack does with big crowds and strange dogs in his house ) and then collapes and clean up on SUnday...

I was hoping to throw down some grass seed in the back yard this weekend but it's still in the low 30's so that's out. I'm going to hit the Y tonight and swim laps and then either play guitar or watch the Purdue/Duke game. Tomorrow I think I'm going to take the dog to the park and let him run around for a while and then I've got a racquetball game at 1. After that not sure what I'm going to do. Sunday we are going to the South Side for my nieces confirmation.
