And have I mentioned people fucking suck? (Sorry for the language).

I've about had it with people.
I'm tired of hearing how "there are nice people out there" and all that bullcrap. People are out to f*** you. If you don't cover your ass at all times, someone will f*** you. Sometimes, just for the hell of it.
And karma is a f***in crock of ****.
You do right by ppl, they screw you. You do the right thing, and you figure that somewhere down the line, the hypcorites will get their comeuppance, or that you'll get something nice thrown your way. But NOOOO....

I didn't go out. I'm at home, drinking an entire bottle of Jag and writing a song for the folkfest. Suck on that, bitches! :embarrassed:
 
I just finished recording drums on that funk song I talked about. Probably will change things up once or twice more.

I want to call it "What the Funk is this Skank?" but I should probably keep the title a bit more family friendly. :embarrassed:

Went back to work today after being in the hospital and getting cleared by my Doc, who told me I had run out of options in the blood pressure department. Had a quiet day at ye olde prison. Went home, had dinner out with the fam and saw a local production of Arsenic and Old Lace at the theater. Went to bed.

Tonight I shall dine with the family, my mom and her fiance will finally meet my gf's parents. :embarrassed:

Tomorrow I'm picking up some supplies to finish configuring my pedal board, maybe get some new windshield wipers if I can find out a decent brand. Tomorrow night it's dinner and a movie out with the gf and a friend of hers.

Sunday is band practice, followed by a delicious meal provided by 2man and his woman.

I have a gig tonight, and tomorrow night is my wifes uncles birthday dinner. Sunday will probably be about buying patio furniture and mowing the lawn.
 
I woke up at 6:45 so I figure around 4ish I'll crash for a couple of hours. Otherwise I've got to go to the liquor store and play Final Fantasy. :embarrassed:

EDIT: I might try to hunt down some flatwounds.

If a 6:45 wake up is nap qualification, I am owed a lot of naps.

Tonight, meeting that bass player (the one with the band that sings about booze) and a prospective drummer at a local bar.

Tomorrow, paint and re-do bedroom #2, then on to Bedroom #3. After that's done, Bedroom #4 is only paint (the rest are wallpapered).

Then, looming at the end of all this is the master bedroom. This will be a major renovation and I am not looking forward to it.

I'm a night owl. When I go to bed at 3:30 and am up at 6:45 I usually crash, especially now that I cut out the Coke and am not getting the sugar and caffeine I used to.
 
Tonight I am signing the papers to re-finance my mortgage, there is a service I never knew existed (mobile notary service) so a guy is coming by around 7 to finalize everything. It took a super long time to get this done but it's worth it because we are going down 1.75% which translates to about a $500 a month reduction and will save us over 200 grand over the course of the mortgage. If we can wrap it up by 8 then I'm going to go to the Y and swim laps.

I had my tax meeting with my accountant yesterday...he advised me to talk to my mortgage to refinance. I hope it goes as well as yours!

I can't believe it's been a week since I was supposed to do it.

Thats how we did the closing on our house..the notary met us at the studio and we signed everything there.

We have a 1 year old 5% loan...I probably have about $3.17 worth of equity in the house :embarrassed: I don't think at this point in time we can refinance anything....

Because of the housing crisis it is a very lengthy process (I started last August and got everything finalized two weeks ago) but it is well worth it.
