No. I sent it back for him to rework some electronics. We had some ideas after he brought it and i decided to go with the pickups that are in my suhr instead of the MLs and the SSV humbuckers. I tried something new and it didn't really work for me. Ill do a video next week.

I'm off today so that's cool. Currently on hold. I'm working on doing the old TV/Internet shuffle - gotta change carriers every couple of years when they start to rape you on the price. Kind of nursing a cold but the Zicam has helped to keep it from getting too bad.

Going to see a movie with the wifey tonight. Probably Les Miserables because that's what's playing at the local old-school $3 theater.

Tomorrow I'm jamming w/ a new band in the afternoon and then going to a party at night.

Sunday - wild card.
 
Avoided going in to the office today. Had a nap after the conference call. Getting ready to go see my favourite local cover band tonight. www.vinylflux.ca
Not sure that I have anything else planned for the weekend, but I'm waiting to be informed. :tongue:
 
Daytime rehearsals for a freelance gig tomorrow and Sunday, and gig tomorrow night with Wasted. Yup, that's the weekend covered.
Oh yeah, a few beers tonight obviously. :grin:
 
I've got a friend in from Chicago who was interviewing at Georgia Southern today for his doctorate program.
So tonight I'm doing my version of Japanese Steakhouse. Steak, shrimp, zuch, squash, onions, and fried rice.
Probably playing some guitar later while drinking the apple pie moonshine we made last night and eating the jerky that dried overnight.
Saturday, downtown Savannah touring with my buddy and my wife. Brunch. And then chilling at the house with the kids.
Sunday, nursing the inevitable hangover that's on its way starting tonight. My buddy flies back Sunday morning.

It's beer o'clock!!!! Tonight I think I'll fire up my Strat and play something..... whatever comes off my pickled brain. Saturday I'm gonna try to do my taxes.... and I doubt I'll be able to buy any new toys with what I get back. My Canon A630 camera died on me, so I've been thinking of moving up to a T3i with the tele lens kit. We shall see. It's supposed to start snowing here sometime on Sat PM, and I'm anticipating multiple hours of back breaking shovelling on Sunday. I wouldn't mind catching some of the Daytona, at least it would put me in a warm weather state of mind.
 
Long day. Luckily I'm not as sick as the last few days, so a splash of bourbon might be in order.
Taking the twin grandsons (3 1/2 years old) to the zoo tomorrow after car shopping.
Sunday will be a bird house build family project.
 
This has been a long week! There was a great deal of overtime available the past 2 weeks so i have worked right at 60 hours the past two weeks. My ass is kicked but i'll cry all the way to the bank. I'm off next week ,so that helps. Going over new tuneage for the show tomorrow, and drinking wild turkey American Honey tonite

I'm not expecting anything major. At some point gotta put together crib #2 and get it wedged into the baby room. Gotta try to slam out a song for the recordingfest, too :embarrassed:
 
Tonight: dinner at home, chill, maybe watch a movie, lay low.

Saturday: clean up the house a bit, maybe wash my car. Going to a friend's house that night to play drunken Wii while the women folk go see Cesar Milan. :facepalm:

Sunday: clean the grill (kill me now) and chores around the house.
 
We just paid off our car. So I'm gonna spend the weekend digging in the couch for change.
And play guitar. I'm really in the mood lately.

At the hospital with mrs T for a test, then PF Changs for lunch (gift card) then to the Pittsburgh home show. Tomorrow and Sunday work in the shop as much as possible. I've got something up my sleeve also.
 
Got called in. Leaving in an hour or so.

Planning on driving down to Santa Cruz with a buddy tomorrow to pick up a 60 year old tv, that doesn't work, that he won on ebay as a local pickup. He's going to use it as furniture to accent the living room. I'm not sure it's worth 8 hours of driving, but said i'd be his wingman.
