Brutal week - it's been nonstop 100 mph running at work trying to get stuff done and it doesn't help my department is moving so I get to help in that endevor next week. So, this weekend? So long as it isn't related to cleaning the g-d basement at home I'll be fine.

Now that the g-d basement is less horrific I'll probably set the synth up on the JC-120 so I can mess with it if I ever go down there. It's been less and less due to the mess and the fact that we have a friends stuff (he got divorced and his ex took the planet in the divorce). Luckily, lots of my disposable crap that's been down there for 20 years or more is now GONE (huzzah).
 
turns out I did have to work.
boss called me 20 minutes AFTER he wanted me there. :facepalm:

work again today, nice to be earning some cash.
 
Come onnnnnnn weekend.

Tonight: relaxing at home, picked up a case of Hop City Barking Squirrel. Making stuffed peppers, drinking beer and watching the Gold shows.

Tomorrow: clean up a little around the house, maybe go test drive some cars. In the afternoon I'm helping my buddy brew another batch of beer, I'll probably be sloppy by the end of that night.

Sunday: NFL playoffs, not much else.
 
Today is recording with Tommy Harkenrider and El Borrachito

No gigs or anything the rest of the weekend, which is good...next week gets really busy.
 
it was beer o'clock at 8 a.m. today.
been up since 4.
all I have planned is to pick up my pay from the hotel, play some ps3, maybe some guitar, and drink a copious amount of beer.
 
Think I'm going to hit an open jam tonight. Tomorrow- sleep in, start drinking early, football. Sunday- sleep in, start drinking early, band practice, football.

Tomorrow planning on getting some stuff recorded at last, couple of originals that need drums.
After that we'll have a bit of a jam between the 2 bands I'm in that share the same practice room (we try doing that occasionally).
Last time we had that jam was the most fun I've had in years. 2 drumkits at once is fucking awesome. :grin:

Sunday is football time (or soccer as you guys call it), when Liverpool play Manchester United at Old Toilet, as we Liverpool fans call it. :grin:
 
Snuck up on me again!

Worked then booked out early to get an oil change and a bit o shopping done.
Had some visitors drop in for a bit.
We're having friends over for dinner tomorrow night.
Found out that my brother sold his house and the closing is in a month. So, I have to get my friend's car trailer off the property. It's full of 68 Charger that needs assembly.
Sunday. Hopefully nothing at all.
 
Got off work VERY early for a change ,came home and had wild make up sex with the missus. we werent mad, i have just been putting in a TON of hours the past month and this was making up for lost time
Got a call tonite to do a last minute fill in gig but the money wasnt worth it and I dont like playing this club in the first place so i declined.

My youngun is moving back to college tomorrow,and i'm playing a gig tomorrow nite so it's going to be a busy weekend
 
My Friday started 4 hours ago. The Eagle Rare started about 1 hour ago. It has a strange but not unpleasant almond like flavor mid way through.
More research needed...
 
Today is my Friday too, had some leave to burn so I'm taking a 4-day weekend.

Tonight: taking my parents to a fancy Italian place for their xmas gift, that should about tap me out for the weekend.

Tomorrow: test driving/possibly purchasing a vehicle, going to Troegs at night then grabbing a late dinner.

Saturday: nothing planned, gf will be in Philly so probably a bachelor's day full of drinking, farting and loud music.

Sunday: NFL playoffs, not much else.

Monday: have off work, might get my oil changed (if I still have my old car).

I hear you about the car salesmen. I was lucky with my last two car purchases; everyone at the dealership was nice, helpful, and not exuding sleaziness. It was quite refreshing.
 
Tonight - getting some gigantic T-bones and grilling them. Probably with 2x baked potatoes, asparagus. Maybe some stuffed mushroom appetizers. I've been eating chicken and fish all week so I'm ready for a cow-fest.

Tomorrow - Don't know. I was planning to cut down a tree in the front yard, but my lower back's been bugging me and bending over cutting stuff up with the chainsaw always seems to create some back pain anyway. But the weather's supposed to be decent so maybe I'll go hiking or something.

Sunday - Go stir-crazy watching football. Retreat to the garage and find something to tinker with.
 
Work, then I don't know. I kind of feel flu-ish without all of the sickness. I've had a cold since before Christmas - on and off - but now I feel achy all over for no. Apparent reason.

Saturday - might try to go take the trailer off of the jack stands. I have to have it off my brother's property by the 15th. He sold his house and the deal closes that day.
Then, maybe out to see that band we always go see.

Sunday - no plans that I know of.
 
I'm working ont he album today and then a kids birthday party at Chuck E Cheeses. :chow:

Tomorrow is work and a gig at Mahe in Seal Beach. SUnday is studio cleaning day. yay.
 
Taking the wife to a martini bar tonight. Maybe if I get her drunk enough... well, just wish me luck.

Sat.- Band practice

Sun- Screwdrivers for breakfast.
