You can get some pretty goods results just tuning it down a octave using pro tools of some type. I used the stock tuning thing in samplitude for quite a few of mine. Worked best with a strat single coils and newer strings.

From what I understand, there is a decent tool in Reaper that will tune it down so I will probably try that first. It seems easy enough but that remains to be seen.

I did get some vocals down. Unfortunately I didnt finish. My voice just ran out of gas. I try to do all vocals at the same time so I dont have obviously different patches but sometimes it is not avoidable. They are bad but better than I thought I could do. At mix time, I will hit them hard with compression and reverb and see what we can make of it.

It might be one of those times that I thought it sounded ok but when I go back and listen tomorrow I'll hate it. I dont have it in me to try to do it again so I will do some fill ins I have left and process it and put it out there. I've sucked before, what's one more time.

Looks like mine will be needing much more attention than I have time to give it tonight and tomorrow.

But I will be sending a few re-submits that some may not have heard that fit the bill. Sorry to those who have heard them before.
 
Seems like everyone is having problems with this one. Cant we just cancel it and try again next month? :embarrassed:
 
Cancelling or putting off the date would make this just like the other place. There's a reason I like it here better.
 
I've got nothing. Can I take something I recorded before, reverse it, run it through a bit-crusher, and post that? :shrug: That's about all I have time for today.

I started but have been busy with other things to complete - like job, potential promotion, gigging and rehearsing with Heart tribute, being a father, being a husband, blues and jazz open jams, learning songs for potential Benatar tribute, exercising, fly to Houston for my job (4 days in Jan), take son to Mark's blues class, take son to his school jazz gigs, take son to doctor, honey do's, health,.......:rolleyes:

Besides I have participated in the last two or three. Just this time there is a delay in completing what I started.
