Was that tough to do without access from the back? I have been afraid of changing pups in a semi-hollow.
 
I rewired a semi hollow once. Then I swore that I'd never do it again. I'll pay someone else to do it.
 
I'm down with doing pickups in any of my guitars at this point except for my artcore for this very reason.
 
I've switched pickups in my Artcore several times. But I don't wire them at the pot. I splice the wire and resolder it. On my Epi Dot, I didn't change the pickups. But I did change the magnets from alnico 5 to alnico 4.
 
The way I did the new harness, it was all ready, tested and tied up before I installed it.
It really just kinda slid right in.
