I've been keeping it humidified. It's not getting any worse and may be improving a little. Hard to tell.
I decided I'll hang on to it unless it starts to affect the playability.
This new wiring harness really brings out the Gretsch in this bridge pickup...wow.

speaking of which, one of the dogs almost knocked me down the stairs the other day.
seems they can't go down before me, or after me.
gotta be right at the same time.
while weaving back and forth on the stairs.


damn dogs...


also, I've had enough rain to last me a lifetime.
it's pouring here again, adding to already-bad flooded conditions in the area.
I'm still okay here, but Jeepers X Christmas, I'd sure like to see some sunshine.
golf course phoned and told my gal she's not working today (duh).
which means she's home all day.

which means no vocal recording for me.

Cripes. That sounds like a Monday alright. :embarrassed:

Even in Norway the weather's been excellent for the last month or so. Weird. That can pretty much only mean that the summer will be crap. :embarrassed:
I'm on a one week vacation right now, so I should be able to get a lot of recording and mixing done this week. :)
 
guess I could (read: should) write a couple more songs for the new MUNG record, since I can't do any vocals today.

it's not that I can't, per se, I just feel weird being up here hollering to myself when people are here.
just one step closer to those guys showing up with a new white coat for me.
you know....the kind with extra-long sleeves.

I'm a bit similar as well. I don't really know why, but I can't do vocals when recording stuff with anyone else there.
I do a bit more "normal" vocals though, so it's probably a focus/self-conscious thing for me, I'm not that worried about white coats. :embarrassed:

but I get the same way even on the stuff where I'm not hollering too.
granted, there's not much of it, but still...

maybe I'll just break out the GI Joes and have an epic battle on the toy room floor.:grin:

we used to buld model battleships and float them in the swimming pool...with firecrackers in tem...and have naval battles...

...damn was my old man pissed...
