That Seedy Table In The Dark Corner Where The Reprobates Gather

Yeah, it blows. I kinda feel worse for Forrest. He lost a $500 skateboard. That Ibby is the one that got flooded a couple years ago. Had a crack in the top. Not a huge loss.

Where you been?

I've been stratching my head for the last couple of days, wondering WTF he had a surf board in the car, not anywhere near an ocean. Before you said long board, and I'm not hip enough to know that can be a skate board.

TBH, I thought surf too, and I should have known better.

being so hip and all

My stupid work has blocked every photo sharing site, so I'll have to just post a link, sorry.

It's the less fancy one on the left. Ever since I got into city cycling/commuting, a year or so ago, I've wanted a Pashley. They're tough to find in the US, really tough actually. A new bike shop opened in my hood last week. Walked in, just to check it out, and there it was. Last one they had, not getting anymore. Said the distributor was a total dick.

Anyway, bought it on the spot, but it was $1100, so I'm paying us back by selling those guitars.

As a bit of history, I ordered this bike last year, and built it up as pretty much a copy of the Pashley, but it's not the same... It's now my "rainy day/trip to the city when I don't care about where I lock it up" bike.

My work has secure garage parking, so the nice one should be safe and sound here. Much safer than home, actually.

Like guitars, I had to mod it right away, and the new stem/handlebars are in. Should be ready to ride home today. :)

I know about the bikes. I used to ride mountain bikes heavily. As bad as guitars. :embarrassed:
I think I need the new unobtanium toe clips! Yeah!

I thought I was the only one not hip to "longboard." Apparently, they are longer than a regular board.

I'd love to get a bike of some kind, but too many years of loud music and (here's the real reason) booze, have killed my balance.
I could probably handle a bicycle, but a motorbike would be the death of me

mnd ya, the only way anyone would know is that I'd disappear from here for a while

I smashed my right knee up pretty bad on a dirtbike when I was a kid
never did heal right
hurts all the time
some days better, some days not so much
