Busy weekend. Progress on the build. Traded my PRS SE and some cash for a lawsuit era '77 Ibanez Les paul. Such a cool guitar. And finally, tonight got to watch the season premiere of Eastbound and Down that was filmed this season where I used to live, Myrtle Beach.

Yea, nice score... :thu:

Thanks!

y'know, there is nothing about that guitar that I can see that I do not love....

damn

I was the same way. The first time I saw it was when I was buying the Roadstar a couple of weeks ago. I got it from the same guy. I played it a bit then and mentioned if he sold it to let me know. It is really light. The pickups are a little bit microphonic. I guess that was common in the 70's. I had a '78 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe that had super microphonic pickups. These aren't as bad and make for some interesting tones.

I could make that thing scream for me
like Earth A.D feedback

man....
ain't often I'm jealous of guitar guys here, but this is one time.

I"d swap a boatload of Strats for that
small boat, but still...

shit, I'd give my LP Studio for it

so, y'all rememeber me talking about slicing my finger with the tenderizer at work?
well, it's pretty much healed.
enough so that I can play normally again, anyways.

so what do I do today?
jam my boning knife into the same damn finger.
almost the same damn spot

and I gotta do bass tracks for the new MUNG cd soon...:(

I think I'll just buy some Crazy Glue tomorrow.
keep it at work.

this cut wasn't as bad as the last one, at least, and is slightly more out of the way. as far as playing goes.

and I probably shoulnd't have yelled "FUCK!" really loud when I did it. :embarrassed:
I'm in my own room, but I'm sure I could be heard out in the store

Seriously Marc, if you ever sell it, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease give me the first shot at it. :)

You have first dibs.

Thing is, I don't ever see Marc selling many guitars. You guys may have to wait a while.

EG

I traded a guitar for this one, but yeah, I tend to hang on to the ones I like.

That sucks man. Back when I used to work construction I hated busting up or slicing my fingers.
