Peeps, I need some input. I still need to get a cab for my Killer Ant. I'm debating getting one of the Blackheart cabs to go with it. What do you think?

Good afternoon kids.

My news is that I am working on a deal on a Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro with my local GC. We are pretty close - I think it will come together.

Heading home soon. I'll catch up later tonight.
 
cool Woody, i was just gonna ask how the LP search was goin'... my best friend here in Kansas LOVES the Traditional Pro...

I was looking online at the Heritage 137 I think. The LP slab body style with P90s. I could live with that.

I dig 12" speakers but the one I played with the 10" sounded pretty good all by itself.

Thanks Damon, and SK8. I might have posted this before, but the thing that sold me on the Trad Pro was the coil taps. The burstbuckers are 3's, not 5's, but they sounded darn good through the Line6/Bogner. btw - I thought I was playing a "cheapo" line6 - but I think that Line6/Bogner was tube. The Trad Pro is a little different twist in Gibson design and marketing - the top is high gloss - but the back of the body, and neck are satin finish. Kind of old school meets new tech.

I did discuss the deal again with the salesguy. By throwing in some gift cards, he is going to make the numbers work. Glad I could give the sales to a local shop really.

OK - here is a little trivia thing about 10's. I was reading an interview with the producer that worked with the late great Jimi. He said on "Voodo Child" Hendrix used 4 10". I love that tone. So I vote 10"s.
