Hey guys...sorry I haven't been around, I had a tough weekend mixed with awsome. My 6 month old chihuahua Monkey was hit by a car on Friday and I had to have him put to sleep. That was devastating to my wife and I, weird how attached we are to the physical world. Friday night I had a jam that was amazing with the new band, three practices in and we sound good enough to play some of this shit in front of people. My originals are very well received and the feeling is uber organic. My Opa turned 91 Friday and it is his bday party today, so, tootles:Wave:

Sorry NB. That's too bad. Great news about your band... anytime you can jam with folks it's a great time, even better when you gel..

Oh - I missed that - you are going to Goldtop? Well I love Gold Tops too.

Yep! It was originally going to have maple binding as well, but that just wasn't in the cards for this project (despite EG's exhaustive efforts to find a way). On top of that, I ordered a couple USA Duncan P-90's in cream to finish the project. I really can't wait.

Hi Mark, PRS, Ken & Monica.

I am back from breakfast, going to have an early Pizza lunch and head to the book discussion.

Looks like the gang's all here. Sorry for not being around more the last week. We've had a crippling server virus at work, and I've had no access to the interwebz at all.

Good Morning!

it's coming bro, i've neglected it for the last few days because it's almost the end of the semester and i'm tryin' to get my shit done...

The end of the semester is always a stressful time. What you going to school for Damon?

Matt, sorry to hear about your puppy. It's hard to have a pet put to sleep. I cried back in '06 when I had to have Cleo put to sleep, when her kidneys failed.

Woody, good luck selling the Wilshire.

hi ellen... i was originally going for business and music, this semester however has changed my mind. i find sociology very interesting and am thinking really seriously about changing my major to sociology/psychology, i think i wannabe a guidence counselor. i've been through a whole lot in my life, a lot of things most people can't begin to wrap their heads around... and i think, given my past experiences, that i'd be really goo at working with troubled kids...

VERY cool Damon! :thu: Being able to say "been there and/or done that" gives you extra cred towards doing the job. Good luck in your studies!

thank you:thu:... i know, that's exactly how i always felt about it when i was younger... there's really no way to "get" a person if you've never been there...

I just spent a little time putting the white PG back on my MiM strat so I can have the black for my parts-strat...I also was able to maneuver my budget around enough to allow me to order the last few parts needed fo rthe entire double part-caster project...

...here's the obligatory box'o'parts pic...

thanks mark...big problem now is finding the time...:-\

...this is an attempt to see how cheaply it can be done...alot of stuff from GFS with Allparts for the rest...Red Dirt Gutar Works bodies and MightyMite necks...and whatever I had in my parts box...
