I see. I am really just getting to know him on this thread. On HCEG - I just did not do the chit chat thraeds. I guess I feel different about this forum. I know EG better. We traded a few PM's. EG's musical backgound, and really attitiudes about making music is very similiar to mine. NB I mostly know from HNGD's, and I bought his OLP. I know Ellen,and PunKKitty, just from some threads here and there on HCEG.

If this is basically the same mix as "OMG..." over on HCEG, I'm playing catch up a bit.

this thread is alot looser than the one at HCEG...the group over there is smaller...

...EG is mainly back at 1.0 because he's posting from a smart phone and wein's servers are a lot slower then 1.0...

Yeah - I do see him over at HCEG 1.0. I still go over there but just for SPAM, HNGD's, and Great Deals. Yes - I know he has some issues going on with this site, and his current phone. All too fancy dancy for me. I will say I got a Aspire Netbook a couple months ago. I use it a lot more than the laptop I used to have.

What is your opinion on Seymour Duncan JJ humbucker? Ashasha was selling his - I bought it. Any style music it excels at? Any that the JJ is not very good for? I really prefer the sound of the SD Distortion - but the price was right.

Opinions?

ah no worries.. The guitars are going slowly. I've been sharing the beginning of our own model journey. We make others for a couple of local stores. We will be shopping our 3 models to some stores and hope that we can get a batch order in at the same time.

Nature is the craziest thing.. I love it when it rains, when it's windy...etc.. but a tornado?.. yea, I think I'll pass. Let's hope it passes you too!

SD JJ? I'm not familiar with that.. or I can't think of that model... Of the SD'd that I've played... I really liked the standard Jeff Beck as well as the SD SH-6 Distortion. I liked the SH-6 a bit more. It has a darkness to it.. It soudns thicker to me, but I could clean it up nicely in my hollowbody and get a super twangy feel. I hated the ALnico II Pro. It was so weak sounding... had a tough time liking it. Felt sterile.
