I have wanted to love Strats. Many of my favorite players use them. I've owned about 6 or 7 of them - and a couple were really, really good ones. But ultimately they all got sold because they are just not my sound.

I used to love strats. My main gigging guitar for years was an American Standard Strat. Now, I don't like them at all, well the traditional 25.5" scale, 3 single coil versions.
