So what's on the menu today?

Went bye bye? don't tell me you threw it out?
Threw it up. My reflux is devastatingly crippling. I refuse to eat a bland diet and I pay for it regularly.
I have been tested for Barret's and all of that so I'm not blindly creating esophageal cancer or anything but I certainly don't do everything I should to alleviate my symptoms.
The muscles that keep food down are very relaxed so most nights I have to sleep sitting up.
Tomato products seem to send me over the top. I don't eat pizza anymore at all. I was craving lasagna and knew going in it would be bad but oh well. I wanted lasagna.

I have documented LA grade C lesions so, they got me on Nexium but I still drink alcohol daily  which is a no-no.
You should go out of your way to avoid any food, or drink that will cause you to vomit; the acid content of the vomit won't help your esophagus.

Oh for sure. I still drink bourbon but it doesn't seem to activate me like tomato products do. I avoid them mostly but about once a month I get a ridiculous craving and eat something only to throw it up.
I take Zegrid daily but I want to take the stuff my mother in law gets. It is magical. But my insurance company won't cover it so it would be $2000 a month.

I just had lunch....a can of Stagg chili, an apple, some Lays pickle flavored potato chips, a couple sesame crackers and red pepper hummus

My wife made me a sandwich with an ungodly amount of cheese for lunch.

I made pulled balsamic pork for dinner and there's plenty left over for lunch tomorrow.

I had Marie Callendersa Shepards pie for lunch along with an apple, some "Shanghai party mix trail mix thingy" a giant marshmallow which has been sitting in a ziploc bag since i went Camping last week of december and two slices of whole wheat toazst with marmite

Burgers and dogs on the grill with frozen fries in the oven. Quick and easy and a crowd pleaser. I ain't complaining.

Palak paneer and naan bread. Pinot noir, which I mostly had to enjoy before eating spicy food, since it kills the flavor.

We've got tandoori salmon for later on. Probably just have it with some rice.

Had mexican pulled beef the last few nights: https://www.recipetineats.com/mexican-shredded-beef-and-tacos/ and it was unfathomably good.

A lot of restaurants in Glasgow are doing little videos of dishes for you to try at home. We'll need to substitute the gram flour but going to try our favourite Indian place's pakora probably on Sunday.

And my wife - who up until lockdown could only really do a mac n cheese, has been making the most amazing sweet and sour chicken - she's going to do that tomorrow with salt and chilli chips.

All we need is a few deep fried chicken balls, some spare ribs and we have a DIY Chinese munchybox :embarrassed:

I'm gonna give that pulled beef a go from JBJ this weekend. Maybe do some country style ribs some way or another. Haven't decided on a flavor profile yet. I might do them glazed in that honey garlic concoction I threw together the other day.

Tonight is homemade stromboli.
Tomorrow is a ham (since we didnt have it for Easter dinner) and pasta alfredo. That's gonna be a good one.
