So what's on the menu today?

Hamlyn’s Scottish Oatmeal with local raw honey for Bfast
Lunch was a big fat ham slice with two eggs and tomato,potato,three pepper mix
Drinking som Paromi brand chamomile/lavender tea with a benedryl right now
Might have yogurt ,granola and maple syrup later

Candy for breakfast with a side of hasbrowns, eggs, and bacon.

Didn’t really do lunch since we tracked another song today. Early dinner was reverse sear steaks, asparagus, mash potatoes and gravy made with a Miller lite and whatever was left in the skillet from doing the steaks.
 
Mrs. T cooked a pork loin, fresh green beans, and made rice pudding from scratch.
We'll have several meals worth of leftovers this week.
 
Grilled some thick-cut pork chops last night. The marinade added nothing so I will not speak of it here. Also, at the insistence of Mrs. Tralfaz, grilled some asparagus that I had blanched and frozen a couple of weeks ago. I've never had much success with grilling asparagus, but this wasn't bad -- probably because it was already cooked.

Rounded out the meal with some cornbread I made the other day. Wasn't the greatest cornbread ever, but at least it didn't have corn kernels in it. That's disgusting. If you put kernels of corn in your cornbread, you are a bad person. This is not open for debate.

Thinner asparagus is easier to grill. Depending on what else I’m grilling, I’ve had luck putting it on the cool side of the grill to cook it before putting on direct heat to get that char or doing it in the opposite order. Main thing is to keep it moving when it’s over direct heat so it doesn’t burn.

I made a delicious lasagna last night. Reflux kicked in about 11pm. Lasagna went bye bye. Is that considered dieting?
