Expect? More like not surprised.

If Suarez hadn't been playing, I'd have fancied England to win. With him playing it all depended on how fit and how much of a recovery he'd actually made. Him making it pretty much the whole 90 minutes was not something I expected and was a big difference. That, and the shocking defending by England. And the toothless attack that seems unable to properly hit a decent shot on target and not straight at the goal keeper.

Last evening the_hugette called to pass on the news that she took a First for the first year of her degree. I have a serious case of 'Proud Dad'. :)
 
England were piss poor last night and deserved to lose.

It's a shame because they looked OK on Saturday against Italy.

Afternoon all.

Dropped my car to my mechanic last night to have some servicing type work done today. Had a phone call this morning that there's a shedload of rust under the sills and it should never have passed the MOT the dealer I bought it from in April put on it. :mad:

Phoned the DVSA (government transport dept's name this month) and lodged a complaint. Fortunately as I'm within 3 months, they will send out an inspector to a nominated MOT station and check it for free. When it then fails I am going to go f*cking mental at the lying bastards who sold me this. Trading Standards are getting a call and heads are going to roll.
