Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Did anyone see Graham Norton last week with Seth whatshisname, Family Guy creator? I wasn't aware that he does loads of the main voices on the show, Peter, Stewie, Quagmire (giggety) and Brian etc.

I was quite impressed.

Good manager! Took little Strømsgodset, who hadn't won anything in recent times, and made them league winners last year - building that team on largely youngsters (Celtic player Stefan Johansen being the main cog while he played there...). Did it without the money that teams like Rosenborg has had over the last few years. And did it with attractive attacking football. Sort of the Norwegian Rodgers in many aspects.

No idea how he'll cope with a new league, but good bloke. :)

Cheers, sound like a good choice :thu:

Woke up yesterday with an incredibly sore and painful neck. Completely random, no idea what I did. I can barely walk properly and is a lovely day so I'm missing all the sunshine :(

Fuck it, I'm going to grit my teeth and bear it long enough to find a beer garden :embarrassed:

Back from Oslo, had a blast of a weekend.

Went and saw Fiddler on the Roof at the theatre on Friday as well, one of my best mates is in the orchestra there. Had forgotten how fun that show is, think it may be 20 years since I saw the movie. Gig Saturday went great, talked to loads of people afterwards that dug what we did. After that, way too much beer for my own good. :embarrassed:

I was ripped out of my tits on Friday and after the missus being a bit of a taj I went home alone only to climb into my stupidly low bed and get cramp in my abs following Fridays work out.

I've had the odd twinge suggesting an impending hernia which I've been able to avoid but this was grim. Horrible, I pretty much had to roll around on the verge of tears until I passed out.

Morning all.

Mojo to pmc100 and jbj - doesn't sound like fun. I'm sore this morning after a weekend sorting out some of the piles of junk in the shed and carting that all off to the recycling centre, along with the half ton of mud/soil/old turf that the wife generated the previous week as she wants to remodel the garden - again. Even more fun is that it has to be done before we go on holiday next month and unless she has won the lottery and not told me, I have no clue where the money is coming from to pay for the materials needed, never mind where we'll find the time to do it by then...

Afternoon all

Mojo to the aches-and-pains afflicted. Welcome to my world. :thu:
Nothing to report except another maximum-points win yesterday which will hopefully put us top of the league; still waiting on another result to be certain. The scorebook flatters: 8-0-30-3 looks rather better than I feel that I bowled. :embarrassed:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

So at the end of work today I'm getting my bag and stuff together and one of the senior managers (your TOKEN more useless than a floppy cock in a porno senior management type) makes a point of telling me there's an after school meeting for teaching staff.

I told her since instead of offering me full time work I've actually had my hours cut to 2 days a week not only have I attended well over the % I'm required to across the year, but she mental if she thought I'd stick around and attend this one just to show a bit of face.

There's another guy in the same situation as me in there just now who was like "ummmm eh I missed th elast one, I really should stay." Fuck them, I've bent over backwards doing all sorts over and above the call of duty for the past 2 years when half of their permanent staff don't even do the basic job so they can fuck right off.

I've never particularly liked Rowling but she just went up in my estimations.

Not tarring them all with the same brush but there's a lot of Yes gimps that wax lyrical about the negative campaigning of the No campaign and then jump down the throat of anyone who dares speak out against a Yes vote so Rowling is very much spot on in many points she makes.

I am actually inclined to vote 'yes' :embarrassed:

The 'better together' campaign makes me sick to my stomach, much more so than the also pretty horrible 'yes' campaign.

My rationale is actually the worrying rise of UKIP, which is mainly supported in the south. As a European immigrant, I don't particularly relish the possibility of a referendum on the UK in/out of Europe.

I firmly believe we are better off together.

However I also tried to get onto platform 9 3/4 when I was last at Kings Cross. So make of that what you will.
