I used to be mad into tough mudder and stuff like that. I once bashed out a 20 miler with 200+ obstacles down south and I wasn't particularly fit at that point.

I'd not have a chance in hell now. :(
 
Officially old. Just thought to myself, I'm glad the young team over the wall have gone inside or I'd have to ask them to quieten it down.

I've been kind of busy/keeping myself busy. Got a water filter bottle thingy and a new backpack for future forest adventures today. Other than that, just work. I did some tech for a livestream event yesterday. Preparing for the coming month, we'll go back to the island we had a residency at last year to do some things for their overview expo. Then after that we'll have a residency at an old mining site somewhere in the east of Finland. Gonna be pretty nice, but intense.

Same as you lot, work has been mad busy. I mostly got over the big hump today (famous last words) but still have a lot to get done between now and the end of term but I can see the trees from the woods now.
 
On the topic of work, I let a bunch of my kids know they'd have someone else as I had an appointment tomorrow. One of them (chief toe rag as it happens) said: "I prefer it when you're in the class, you know more about history than anyone else in school and can answer all of the things that come in to my head."

Not lying, today was pretty mad with lots of grind work they don't tell you about in uni or those get into teaching adverts. I welled up a bit when he said that. :embarrassed:

Just heard I got an artist grant for the next 4 months and I had my vaccination today. My right arm ( I asked them to put it there as I'm left handed) kind of feels like a foreign object at the moment. A really interesting feeling, it feels like I'm sort of hyperaware of anything I do with my right arm :embarrassed:

Also ordered a water filter and new backpack to do some more camping trips in national parks with the GF this summer, so basically good stuff all around.
