2 to 3 cm on the ground here now, trees are covered etc... It's pretty mental. It's been snowing occasionally for the past few weeks, but this is not some white stuff in the air, this is proper everything is white snow...

So we'll just forget the hours from 12 to 2 ever happened yesterday :embarrassed:

I'm nothing if not a good sport, I headed up to my local after watching it in a Rangers boozer and took the ribbing from the Celtic end of the pub like a champ. I look forward to being able to return the favour, at some point, probably way in the future :facepalm:

I'm feeling rather delicate and have tickets to go to the wrestling later on :shrug:

You Brits have a new Heavyweight boxing champ, Anthony Joshua :)

I hear that the fight was great, one of the better Heavyweight bouts in recent history. Hopefully youtube will have it after a few months so I can watch it :embarrassed:

Irish lass Katie Taylor won a championship too. Lightweight, I think? Beat some undefeated German gal.

Did you get to watch 'em, @jbj ? I know you and Flamencology are big fight fans.

Nope it was on sky box office which I can't get and my kodi box needs a serious update.

All the pubs shut early on Saturday because of the Old Firm game too so the place I would go to watch it was closed.

Shame, it sounded like a great fight too.

I went to watch the insane championship wreslting last night. It's a bit like WWF except they're generally fat, not very safe and I don't ever recall Hulk Hogan shouting "shut up ya wee cow or I'll boot ye in the fanny" to a heckler :grin:
 
Just finished a 3 day course on C and C++ programming. My head hurts and I need alcohol to numb the pain.
 
The Portuguese entry for Eurovision this year is rather lovely.



Sometimes I wonder if Johnny Foreigner really understands Eurovision at all, which would at least explain why they never vote for the British entry I suppose.

Scottish politics offers a choice of which flag you want your nationalist dickheads to wave. If your politics isn't mostly about nationalist dickheads waving flags, you are sadly currently out of luck.

I am a European. So I can only vote in Scottish elections. To secure my future here, I voted Greens/ /Scottish Nationalists. They are the only parties wanting to stay in the EU

Anyhoo my dad ran for a minority party and pulled in more votes than the Lib Dem candidate in his ward, which must be really depressing for the Lib Dem guy.
