Back at work after a long weekend up in Birmingham taking son and grandson to the Brick show at the NEC. For those who don't know it's all about Lego.

I had a fecking great Halloween. I was Batman. Id post a pic but God knows how. We had about 8 kids in total at my place including my 2.

Games, sweets and trick or treating. Kids loved it. Then friends round on the night.

Know that feeling. Daughter's car going in for MOT next weekend and has she got any money to pay for it? Has she hell! So I'll be paying out for that. Then my car has a slow oil leak and the wife's car has noisy brakes...

Mine might have an oil leak as well. Either that or it drinks oil like an alkie... Never found any oil trace anywhere on the driveway, but it ran completely dry in about 6 months.

MOT is due in January :(
 
I spent Halloween drinking while not being dressed up. It was quite severe, some party with free champagne, never again.

I managed to work through the shitton of stuff I had to do so I'm finally able to work ahead instead of being forced to half-ass stuff a day before it's due...

Between getting in from last night's gig, a grind you down day at work and a stint selling poppies there I'm ready for my bed.

Lots on this weekend too so I can't even decompress or get a lie I then :-(
 
Bonfire night tonight, so going to take my daughter to see the fireworks, should be fun. Apart from that

Ah Guy Fawkes night. Used to love it as a kid. I think family bonfires with baked potatoes etc are better than the big organized events.

Obviously they don't have it here in Germany. Shame
