Afternoon all. wave0

Bon jocus of course being auto corrects shitty bon jovi tribute band!

Bon Jocus sounds like an awesome name for a Glaswegian Bon Jovi tribute act. :rawk:

"I'll Lays Yous Out Onna Baid O Roses!"

And belated Happy Birthday to @wok!

Mother of all first world problems: Dropped my phone in the hot tub last night

Seems to be OK now but i' shitting plugging it in to charge.

Dammit, did I miss your birthday Wok? Well I hope you had a good one. Cheers!

On another note I got stung in my toe by a very angry jasper (wasp) on holiday when I stood on it. Ive been waiting two weeks now for some kind of superhero reaction, for example, the ability to fly or to sniff around peoples drinks outside for hours but so far no luck. Bah!

Have a good trip home stu :thu:

I finished my first course in my MA, had to do an exhibition within two weeks  worked like mad but I think me and my group made a nice thing. Spent the weekend relaxing and doing some work. This week the GF is away and I have only 4 hours of class, so I'm going to enjoy a lot of beers, books and videogames :embarrassed:

Afternoon socialists :embarrassed:

Pretty disgraceful how the rightwing shitrags villify Corbyn.

Even worse, new labour losers seem to be in it with them. I heard an ex-labour MP basically call him a dictator- and terrorist sympathiser

New labour: fuck the labour in labour...

Don't know too much about the guy, but from what I gather he seems like an old school leftie. Which seems a good match with a party that's supposed to promote old school leftie ideology. If it's going to be the best route to go electorally speaking should not matter. The idea of a representative democracy should be to promote your ideas and see how many people agree with you and influence policy accordingly. Not a stupid game of who can win the most votes.

It'll be interesting to see if the press suffer a backlash for their backlash.

I had a thought yesterday. I can't see many people who voted Labour in the last election stopping from voting Labour. It's pretty much only the core support left. So Corbyn can only gain votes by bringing back disaffected non-voters or those who experimented with UKIP or the Greens.

I would love to see Engerland experience the same anti-austerity, anti-establishment backlash that has benefited the SNP the last few years in Scotland. The Establishment and Press won't have a clue what to do

Londoners and those who can get to London, try to go see Oresteia by the Almeida Theatre at Trafalgar Studios. It's the best live theatre I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot of live theatre.
