Can't believe we just went top of our group (although I do expect Italy to win their game). We were actually good today. :eek:

Not that great of a team and a ridiculous string of games lost by individual errors. Today was a perfect example, first half was fine, but NL got two goals against because of slipups by players who were having a fine match. Doesn't matter who's playing, there's always someone who does something stupid that leads to goals against. Third goal was the result of tremendous risk taken in the last quarter of the match to get something out of it. Insecurity crept in after a load of these matches and this not that great generation of players does not appear to be capable to get over it or overestimate themselves enough to not focus 100% all of the time.

Would have thought there's enough quality in the squad for them to qualify though. If I'm right, you need Turkey to screw up in their last 2 to get playoffs.

We're looking at our best shot at qualifying for a tournament since the 00 Euros. About bloody time. :embarrassed:
Unless Bulgaria win tonight we're guarenteed playoffs. :)

There's enough quality, but the amount of silly mistakes and bad luck is just too much to handle. And Robben has been unavailable a lot, which does not help :embarrassed:

Sucks dude, that shit happens to me every once in a while. Very annoying, but I usually try to make the best of it and watch a movie or something, I gave up on trying to fall asleep on nights like that long ago :embarrassed:
 
I am LOVING the strength of the USD now. I buy from dealers in germany and the USD is .90 Euro now.
we are going to Germany in October as well,and the trip wont be as expensive as it was 5 or 6 years ago
