Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Yeah you must've made quite a lot. Did you anticipate on it? I usually keep the tax percentage on the side even though I've never made the threshold to pay it at the end of the year, just to be on the safe side. It's always nicer to have some extra cash than being short at the end of the year.

It's got more to do with my day job earnings than anything else and although I dont have a specific pot there for it (which I really should do inf uture) I've got th emoney to cover it.

On a slightly related note: the same week i buy a jacuzzi that doesn't seem to exist and hand over a sizeable amount of dough to johnny taxman is probably not the best to have my car brake system totally fail

Kind of hoping the jacuzzi order is totally fubar so I can cancel the payment.

Afternoon disappointed eclipse gazers. Received my first workplace punch in the face this morning.

I wouldn't actuallxy mind if it wasn't for the fact I do plenty of punchworthy things day in and out but this one was nothing to do with me :-P

It's weekend and for once I got no gigs. The only gig free weekend until mid May.

That can only mean one thing. Me getting absolutely shitfaced. :embarrassed:

Would that be any different if you did have gigs?

Yep. I never get drunk at a gig. In about 25 years of playing live that's happened ONCE.
I'll have a few beers but never any more than that. I never do a bad gig. And that's why they keep calling me.

Wow, I never did a gig without beer :embarrassed:

Only was really hammered one gig though, can't remember shit but I heard it was pretty good :embarrassed:

I can't really do that, as I'm as high profile as it gets locally. A good reputation is lost ridiculously fast that way. :embarrassed:

The one time I got hammered was luckily at a birthday party for a friend of mine with only about 30 people there, and not open to the general public. :embarrassed:

Everyone knows you get drunk after a gig.

Nah, that's quite rare. It's been known to happen, but very rare.
By the time we get our gear packed, all the parties are usually over. :embarrassed:
Me playing with a bunch of married people with kids doesn't help either.
