Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Hi, not much happening this weekend. Chilling and watching a bit of footie, probably drinking myself silly later tonight.

This thread is usually very quiet during weekends actually.

Cool to see quite a few old ones drop in lately btw. :)

Oi oi where was your work night out Wok? I know quite a few guys (most of them arseholes :embarrassed: ) who are doing some of the big Christmas party venues in ye olde capital.

This new lower drink drive limit is going to totally cunt up beer and football Sunday :(

Wow, Finnish independence day is quite the spectacle, I had loads of punch and beer and watched a shitload of people shake hands on TV. And karaoke

Our night out was in the Hub at the top of the Royal Mile. And yes, there were lots of xmas nights out going on, judging by how absolutely mobbed it was

Yup, from Russia in 1917, in short nobody could agree wether the revolution was a good idea or not, so they decided to go their own way.
You'd think they would celebrate independence from Sweden over Russia since that was several centuries

Christmas shopping = urban warfare. Not a wise thing to do with a hangover.

Thank F*ck it's Christmas yeah
Thank F*ck it's Christmas
Thank F*ck it's Christmas
Can it be Christmas?
Let it be Christmas
Ev'ry day

:embarrassed:

Yeah, but the Russians were the last. Also, there's a Swedish minority here and hating on the Swedes too much is sort of problematic. There was even some violence during the civil war and the Åland islands became a demilitarised autonomous region because the Swedish speaking inhabitants were afraid to be forced into the finnish language. All official notifications and street signs etc. are also in Finnish and Swedish everywhere in the country.
