Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Afternoon chaps.

So my pre-Hamburg plans to get shit done around the house before starting back work on Monday has totally gone to the dogs and after last night's jam sessio the place is a tip never mind the DIY stuff that will have to wait until another time :)

A friend of mine is up in court today because he was stopped by the police for running through a mini roundabout. He's a town planner and his argument is that he designed the thing and it was never properly laid out ergo it's not really a mini roundabout  This has dragged on since the start of the year and today is the day of reckoning. He's too stubborn (and daft) to have worked out that if the powers that be are actually going to the trouble of taking him through the courts numerous times throughout a 10 month period, chance are he's going to get fucked whether he's right or not (which, technicality arguments aside) he's not.

Speaking of courts. I have an interview for an SEBN school which standards for Social, Emotional and Behavioural Needs which in laymans terms means the place we pap the arseholes who can't be allowed into a normal school until they manage to get themselves jailed. Don't really want it if I'm honest but needs must.

Mwgl forums proponent for calling shit what it is  i've done my fair amount of graft in these sort of schools and at the end of the day there's a MINUTE amount of kids in these places who are beyond help but the majority choose to shun it.

I appreciate more than most that some of these kids have come from horrific backgrounds but despite the fact you might never have had a supportive, caring adult in your life until that point, when you're a young adult you should have enough brain cells to rub together to work out that the guys trying to help you out when your parents won't or are incapable are maybe on your side as opposed to someone you should stab given half the chance...

Maybe a bit fatalistic but as I said, I've been there and seen it - I didn't decide to embark on a career where I spend 35 hours a week 17 or so  weeks a year dealing with kids because I hate them or want them to fail...

'noon all

I realise a lot of you don't ever venture outside this thread...so here goes.
My band just released an EP today, cool if you guys would check it out or pick it up.

You don't have to, but I'd be well chuffed if you did.
Don't think there are 'a lot' of us left here.:shrug:
Is your rekkid available anywhere else for iEvilMeejaEmpire refuseniks (just me, probably )? I'd be inclined to check it out if so. :thu:

So far cdbaby.com, Spotify as well as iEvilEmpire. There will be physical copies as well, but that will take a couple of weeks.

The shop of a certain geographical location down my bit has been charging that since the start of the month

Just had a look on CDBaby and the EP appears to cost $7.99 but buying the 5 tracks separately adds up to $6.95. Am I missing something here?
