post pics of the gutiars you will never sell...

It looks like you have most of your bases covered. What kind of amp is that? It looks like a Fender acoustic amp.

Tig has it right. A 1961 Fender Concert. It is the one you hear every lesson. It is a year or two before Fender came out with reverb, and has instead a Vibrato effect. It is a 4x10.

None. I have never gotten attached to any guitar I have ever owned. I always end up moving on to something else once I feel I have gotten everything I can out of one.

If my wife or kids were to ever buy me one, then that would change, but I don't see that happening.

Never is indeed a strong word.

This is the one I won't sell until it's a matter of life and death for my wife and son.

The ones it will only require a severe financial crisis, threatening repossession of our house.

As far as I'm concerned everything is for sale at the right price. Well, except maybe the neck that's on this one. It's from an 83 Fullerton Strat. I've had on 3 different guitars over the years and it has become my all time favorite. I'm liking this Tele a lot as well so I'm thinking that the neck has found a permanent home so I guess the rest of the guitar isn't going anywhere either. At least for now.

I can't help but like that Tele! I usually wouldn't like the Strat headstock and neck, but it works somehow. :thu:

EDIT: Um, except for the knobs.

Thanks. I know what you mean. Actually I didn't set out to do a TeleStrat at all. My original goal was to put something together that was as close as I could get to a 52 Reissue. Then my ideas began changing drastically and this neck and body just seemed like they belonged together.

its like a modern rockabilly guitar.

It does that well, but the interesting part is how good these pickups sound with distortion. Especially heavy distortion. The three pickup positions are interesting too they sound completely different in each position strikingly so.

I have nothing to post, everything is always in motion.

I sold my first guitar (Ric 360) without regret, I've sold many fine guitars without regret, and if I decide to move on to something different, even my #1, the '72 Goldtop, could go...after 20 years. They're just possessions, I wouldn't run into a burning building to save one, and I get to keep the memories, which is all that matters.

These four are ones I will never get rid of! They are all partscasters I put together myself and would have no value to anyone else anyways. Plus they all play and sound the way I want so there would be no point.
