Seriously, though -- since I spent most of the 80s divorced from music (I got married in 1979, discharged and had my first kid in 1983, went back to college in 1985 and graduated in 1987) I had way too much going on in my life to mess with music. Thus, this has to be the choice for me -- something that rather indicates where my mind was at that time:

But you are absolutely right, the Seagulls rocked!

And I really liked the Stray Cats too.
