I've been slacking a little - it's amazing what starting back work after the Summer holidays does to your free time
Played 15 last week before the heat got to us. First 9 was really poor but I got my swing together and hit some really nice shots on the last 6 - landed a bogie on a par 4 that usually destroys me so I was happy with that and once I'd did a bit of adjusting and getting my shoulders into the swing, my drives were absolutely flying. Really satisfying after the shocking start.
My neighbour I play with is away on holiday so no course this week but I'll hit the range. I do a 'Planning for Personal Development' unit each year around this time where the kids need to create some small goals to work towards a bigger target. To keep them accountable I do my own and follow through on them.
This time it's: Mr JBJ will improve his golf by:
1. Hitting at least 100 balls per week at the driving range / playing at least one round
2. Practicing the drills coach Gary gives him
3. Read articles and watch videos for tips and strategies to try out.
