OMG Politics, I'm over it already.

Bernie is the Ross Perot of today. He mostly makes sense but has a couple of odd things about what he does/says and in the end, the 99% won't get behind him even though he is the only one who would do anything in their favor.

Fucking weirdo with all his "charts" and "graphs" predicting the housing bubble and impending recession.
actually....more like weirdo that had video cams in the bathrooms at his building and monitored everyone that worked for him 24/7......etc.

And the NSA is just now getting around to listening to all of our conversations. Like I said, he was ahead of the curve.

the NSA has been doing that for a couple decades, to the extent that the technology would allow. we just now are finding out about it.

and cameras in bathrooms isn't ahead of the curve, it's a violation of privacy on a level approaching psychotic.

Fox announced another smoking gun in the email server scandal, with an exclusive interview from a hacker that claims he and several other hackers breached HRC's server. Buried at the bottom of the article?

"Fox News could not independently confirm Lazar’s claims."

Perot was a genius compared to the morons running since - Trump is a success despite himself...given millions, bankrupted his businesses many times but people love to 'buy the brand'.

So the Supreme Court absence went against the "conservatives" again. (Well, not really. In fairness, this case was not even close so the absence did not come really into play. The court simply decided not to hear the case as the law was settled.). Seattle's $15 an hour min. wage law was upheld against a challenge by McDonald's that a provision giving better treatment under the law for small businesses as compared to larger businesses was unfair. Now, as an economics major, I can see arguments for and against min. wage laws. But the law was clearly, I say again clearly, not unconstitutional. Here is a nice balanced analysis of McDonald's and its challenge to the law. (hint, not at all balanced, and pretty funny if you read that with that in mind. Lots of profanity, probably NSFW.) http://wonkette.com/601378/supreme-...?utm_source=sc-fb&utm_medium=ref&utm_campaign

Ok, here is a little bit more balanced article from Reuters. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-court-minimumwage-idUSKCN0XT18Z

So it's going to be Hillary v. Trump, with Hillary the most likely winner. Of course, I didn't think Trump would make it this far, so what do I know. I just find it mind boggling that two candidates with such high unpopularity numbers won their respective parties. I feel really bad for all the 18 yr. olds who are voting in their first election. It's truly a case of choosing between bad and worse.

OR......people seeing the candidates for this primary session said F@ck it, i'm not gonna bother, and just stayed home and the only ones that turned out in any numbers, were the Trump crazies.

i don't think the 18 yr. olds have been around long enough to have seen what a good candidate looks/sounds like. it HAS been a while.

Even my parents weren't old enough to vote for Eisenhower. :embarrassed:
